The  Evelyn E. Perkins Scholarship Foundation had it's 10-Year anniversary celebration at the Santa Anita Race Park in Arcadia, CA on October 10, 2016.   Our theme was:  "Derby Day - The Race for Education".  A great time was had by all in attendance including past EEP recipients, parents, and EEP donors and supporters of education.    Great food and fun was enjoyed as we celebrated and gave thanks to those supporters who have helped us over the years in providing scholarships to college-bound high school seniors from single-parent homes who were in need of financial assistance.   Our 10-year event was a huge success!
